Add a CommentYou say recession, I sat depression, lets just call the whole thing off! If you could get a today 16 year old who can't find a job to sit down some rainy Sunday afternoon and look at a few clips of this, it'd serve its purpose. I found it an illuminating window into the world of some people I've known who lived during this time - and THAT time, too.
FIVE STARS ,....The insight into the adventure of 'budget ' travel is good ,but... This film gave me more realistic awareness about the true nature of the Great Depression than I have found from any other source that have ever seen or read ! !... Definately a MUST SEE for any history buff.
Wonderful stories of people's lives. I have always wished I could hop a train!!! This movie showed me the adventure, but that I never would have made it. Took a very special type. I admire them.
