Thing to remember is that Mira Sorvino walk away from this film with an Academy Award. And as with any Woody Allen film, everythng is first take, he never rehearses. Sorvino earned that oscar. And the Greek Chorus drives home the theme which is timeless, "Where do we come from?"

Smutty and in poor taste. Often grotesque.

Light and funny "à la Woody Allen". Mira Sorvino is hilarious!

One of Woody Allen's funniest, least overfilled or pretentious flicks. Mira Sorvino's best role ever, to my knowledge, as an airhead hooker with the usual heart of silver. The other characters are as two-dimensional, and there's a funny Greek chorus from Manhattan that does do-wop rhymes, plenty of laugh-out-loud lines, and a very enjoyable plot that's a bit thin but never overreaches (as shown with his treatment of that Greek chorus). Recommended.
