what a cunningly dark story!
I don't want to go into too many details because it would ruin the suspense.
This is such a great edition which is illustrated by Eddie Campbell -- it resembles a scrapbook with the text interspersed with illustrations and graphic art panels and vice versa -- each element punctuates and furthers the story.

A nameless narrator wants to search out a cave filled with gold and seeks out the one man who knows how to get there. The journey is an eventful, and thought provoking one, for the two of them and it is perfectly as dark and mystical as anything you can expect from Neil Gaiman. The illustrations provided by From Hell's Eddie Campbell is also a fabulous addition.

Super dark, but good cross between prose, graphic novel, art, and story.
