A touching, heart searching, self questioning/reflective read. As always with Elizabeth Berg I found it difficult to put to the book down or even in this case stop thinking about the characters. A wonderful insight into palliative care and grieving.

was "hungering " for something to read, and this book definately sustained me. As ever, Berg satisfies the reader. She is an amazing author, and her books always leave me astounding , and able to "come away with something" very meaningful and rewarding. She chooses subject matter that has impact on the reader, and does an incredible job of making you feel like one of the characters in her novels, as though you "lived " it . I loved the part in the book where Ruth suggests that matching dishes are the 'Stupidest idea I've ever heard of ', and says ' Don't you want to see something different when you look around the table ?
