This series offers a fun take on classic nursery rhymes. The dog doctor and chicken nurse at the hospital must care for a spider (named Itsy Bitsy, of course) after it suffers a waterspout-related injury. Besides just plain fun, this might be a good series for kids who are interested in what happens at hospitals. There was more detail than I expected about the spider getting stitches. This is definitely on the advanced side of the Easy Reader collection. Recommended for children who are reading longer sentences and words.
