This author is off of my "to read" list. While the i was intrigued by the books description I found it very disappointing.

Spot on everyone: I suspect the co-author (his wife?) was instrumental in the development of some of the female characters and plot lines in come sort of "tandem" writing effort. It failed dismally. The Flowers character deserves better.

All prolific mystery writers are allowed one "stinker" which disappoints even their best fans. This is a real dud from a terrific writer.

He really rambles on and on and on ....... didn't finish. I use to like him.

By now it's a formula and, though there is the occasional funny line, I have largely moved on from these. Flowers is much more ineresting than Davenport at this point.

A light, fun diversion, but far from one of Sandford's best.

This book needs to be in the garbage and forgotten

Agree with other reviewers, this is a weak effort by an author whose previous books boththe Prey series and Flower's books I've liked. I note he is now giving credit to a co-author and wonder if this might be part of the problem. In any case the plot was ridiculous, poorly presented and at times incoherent. Certainly not his best effort.

I read all, but had hard time doing that. Did seem to drag and almost set it aside and not finish.
