I love how Cassis realized that Ky is the one she really loves and how after he is taken away she leaves everything behind to save him!! It's so romantic and sweet. Plus I think its really cool that Xander and Cassia are still friends and all.

Awesome! I can't wait to read REACHED!!

As others have said, this second book isn't quite as good as the first but still enjoyable, looking forward to reading the third book.

I love how the poem"Do not go gentle" kept Cassia from giving up hope of ever finding Ky in the carving.

This is a story of a girl who is willing to take any risk to find the love that was taken from her by the society. she will do anything to find him again.

Crossed has a little bit more action from Matched.Cassia goes to the Outer Provinces to find Ky.And they stumble upon The Farmers and The Rising.Cassia learns its hard to fight for your freedom and love without giving up on what you believe in.Yet she always finds her way. A secret that Xander and Ky have might influence her choice of who she wants to be with when she finds it out.

I must agree with BlackCat_13
kinda like Divergent if you ask me, first book was great, and then it went downhill from there. Although I liked reading Ky's perspective of things

The first book was good, but this book went downhill. It wasn't well written, and I think it could have been improved on because the plot got dull. there wasn't much action like it was just a straight line without much obstacles. I don't even know what were the climaxes in this book.

Then there was the thing with poetry.Poems in all of the books, makes it boring. (what is it with poems in this book series??)

This 2nd book is different, you follow Cassia out to the Outer Provinces in the Society whereby she is trying to find her love. While she is working through her situation she meets some interesting characters and has some experiences/adventures along the way. But what about Xander and Ky, will they be able to see each other and work on their ultimate goal. Guess you will have to read to find out.

This is a must read if you read the first book in the series Matched. This book is different than the first but in some ways the same. In this story, Cassia goes on an adventure through the Carving to find Ky and the rising. With many twists and turns and adventure everywhere, this book still mentains a nice storyline.

n search of a future that may not exist and faced with the decision of who to share it with, Cassia journeys to the Outer Provinces in pursuit of Ky - taken by the Society to his certain death - only to find that he has escaped, leaving a series of clues in his wake.Cassia's quest leads her to question much of what she holds dear, even as she finds glimmers of a different life across the border.

But as Cassia nears resolve and certainty about her future with Ky, an invitation for rebellion, an unexpected betrayal, and a surprise visit from Xander - who may hold the key to the uprising and, still, to Cassia's heart - change the game once again. Nothing is as expected on the edge of Society, where crosses and double crosses make the path more twisted than ever.

At the end of Matched, Cassie has discovered that her match with Ky was planned, but does not know by whom. They were purposely put together and watched. Her actions were all predicted ahead of time, and she has fulfilled all that they predicted she would do, including placing Ky in the category for advancement. They knew she was aware that he was smarter than he let on and that human emotions played a part in her decision. We also saw that Xander was not all we had thought, in that he had been jealous of Ky for a while, but would do anything for the love of his life, Cassie. When Cassie told him about Ky's picture on her card, he stated the obvious, "I was there too, Cassie. You only chose to see him". Xander is definitely more than he appears, I dont know if I want her to chose Ky or Xander.

“Everyone has something of beauty about them. But loving let's you look, and look, and look again. You notice the back of a hand, the turn of a head, the way of a walk. When you first love, you look blind and you see it all as the glorious, beloved whole, or a beautiful sum of beautiful parts. But when you see the one you love as pieces, as why's, you can love those parts too, and it's a love at once more complicated and more complete.”
