Add a CommentIt says something when a southern rock band can make such universally appealing music, album upon album. And no singer out there has the raw appeal of Caleb Followill.
This is a good album. Not as good as their last one, Only By The Night but still a solid album. I enjoyed KOL's older albums and have all of them but I like their new sound better.
Bah. The last two Kings of Leon albums just sort of whelm me. You can say what you like about a band's sound maturing, but I really enjoyed the frenetic southern sound on their first few albums, and I miss it. That said, if you liked <i>Only By the Night</i>, you'll probably enjoy this offering, too.
