I picked this up because I'm a sucker for teens with powers, even the mundane ones. Unfortunately, this book is not well written and the main character is whiny and unlikable. I put the book down after the third chapter because I was too bored to continue. The writing is just whiny. That is the best way to describe it.

This book was okay but it didn't really do anything for me as I got into it. The character's reactions seemed to shallow to be realistic and I did not connect easily with the main character as the story evolved.
Still good ideas, although not that original.
