Main character is autistic. Good story. Great voice.

Diagnosed as autistic at age eight, Jason Blake can’t focus on faces, can't keep his limbs still, can’t lie down on the needlelike grass. I liked it because it made me think about what goes on inside autistic peoples heads. Very good.

"Kids at school think that Jason Blake is weird. He's autistic, and his constant blinking and frequent hand-flapping definitely make his differences noticeable - except online, where he posts his brilliant creative writing on the website Storyboard. Through Storyboard, Jason forms an online friendship (maybe more?) with fellow writer Rebecca. But when he learns that he and Rebecca are both attending the Storyboard conference, he's terrified of meeting her in person. This warm and funny novel will be a hit with aspiring writers as well as anyone who knows - or wonders - what it's like to be dramatically different." It's a little short. It's not as good as I thought it would be and it is a little confusing, but I think it is still worthwhile to read.

I really liked this book for a few reasons... One of them is because my younger brother has autism, and I've wondered what exactly goes on inside his head... I love how this story is told from the autistic boy's point of view. It's so different from all the other stories I've read- a little reminiscent of Mockingbird, but it's different in so many ways... I really do like this book. It made me think a whole lot more about what my brother might be thinking and what he feels at times... Loved this book!
