Quotes
Add a QuoteHarry Burns: You know, you may be the first attractive woman I've not wanted to sleep with in my entire life. Sally Albright: That's wonderful, Harry.
Harry Burns: Had my dream again where I'm making love, and the Olympic judges are watching. I'd nailed the compulsories, so this is it, the finals. I got a 9.8 from the Canadians, a perfect 10 from the Americans, and my mother, disguised as an East German judge, gave me a 5.6. Must have been the dismount.
Harry Burns: I love that you get cold when it's 71 degrees out. I love that it takes you an hour and a half to order a sandwich. I love that you get a little crinkle above your nose when you're looking at me like I'm nuts. I love that after I spend the day with you, I can still smell your perfume on my clothes. And I love that you are the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep at night. And it's not because I'm lonely, and it's not because it's New Year's Eve. I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.
Harry Burns: I've been doing a lot of thinking, and the thing is, I love you. Sally Albright: What? Harry Burns: I love you. Sally Albright: How do you expect me to respond to this? Harry Burns: How about, you love me too. Sally Albright: How about, I'm leaving.

my favorite movie. funny, witty, romantic and fun to watch.
Great movie, great ending.
Great romantic comedy, perfect for a date night. This movie is sure to deliver, very much worth seeing.
A pop culture classic, that supposedly coined (now) classic relationship labels like "high maintenance" and "transitional," or so Wikipedia says. A romantic comedy, yes, but one that I honestly believe brings something appealing to anyone, cynical or otherwise. Misery loves company, and commiserating over past failed relationships falls into that category. Never too cheesy, never too real, and who could forget Meg Ryan's iconic diner scene over a piece of pie?
Just don't make sense for me. Maybe that's the romantic. By the way, the scene at the beginning , when Harry rolls down the window with his grape spit sticking on, makes me so disgusting.
My favorite movie! I can watch this endlessly . A romance between friends blossoms and everyone but they can see it, its a classic.
